Yes. Kaban is completely free for all invited community members and survey participants throughout the private beta period.
Will my data ever be held hostage behind a paywall?
Never. We believe your ledger records are your sovereign property. You will always be able to view, edit, and export 100% of your financial transactions, accounts, and budgets in standard open formats (JSON, CSV).
Does Kaban sell my financial data or display ads?
No. We have zero advertisement trackers, zero affiliate credit card links, and zero data broker partnerships. We never monetize your personal spending habits.
Can I use Kaban offline without an internet connection?
Yes. Kaban is architected local-first with client IndexedDB storage. You can log expenses, check balances, and plan budgets completely offline.
